Shane founded Australian Finance Hub in 2017 after 15 years in the finance and banking industry. Previously the NSW Southwest Sydney Regional Manager at Bankwest, Shane’s knowledge and experience in financial services has enabled him to grow the business to be one of Australia’s largest independent brokerages. Known for his exceptional customer service, attention to detail and extensive industry knowledge, Shane focuses on fostering lasting relationships with each of his clients. Outside of work he enjoys playing soccer, golfing, fishing and spending time with his wife Alexandra and children Gabriel and Luisa.

Mariam brings a wealth of experience to Australian Finance Hub having worked extensively within both the Financial industry and Leadership Coaching space. 

As the Operations Manager, Mariam’s commits to providing crucial support across multiple departments, including Team Development, Business Strategy, Finance, Human Resources, System Optimization, and Quality Assurance. Beyond her professional commitments, Mariam cherishes moments with her family and indulges in the pleasure of shopping.

Daro joined Australian Finance Hub in 2023, a Business Administration graduate from Macquarie University. With a background in sales and customer service. He understands the importance of clients and is very passionate about helping others to achieve their dreams of owning a property. Revolving himself around the industry for many years, he is a quick learner and is working towards becoming a leading broker in the industry. Outside of work, Daro enjoys all things sports mainly rugby league. His favourite hobbies are travelling, sport and hanging out with friends.

Gabriel recently joined Australian Finance Hub bringing 7 combined years of Commercial Finance & Sales experience to the team. With a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in International Business, Gabriel’s foundations, perspective & big-picture thinking is what makes him such a skilled & dedicated Broker. Gabriel prides himself on his customer-centric approach and genuine desire to help people achieve their dreams. In his spare time, Gabriel loves to find the best spot to devour chicken wings with his Fiancé and explore dog parks with his two little companions Norbit & Fitzgerald.

Johnny brings a wealth of experience to Australian Finance Hub having worked at the Commonwealth Bank for more that 35 years. As our most senior credit manager, Johnny is the go-to person for complex finance solutions. Since joining the team in 2018, he has helped hundreds of clients purchase their dream properties. He prides himself on his reputation for going above and beyond to deliver finance approvals for his clients. Outside of work, Johnny enjoys chess, woodwork, gardening and long walks. He is also a passionate A League Macarthur fan, never missing a home game.

Elyssa joined Australian Finance Hub in early 2024 with a background of sales and customer service. She is outgoing and enthusiastic about helping our clients reach their goals. She is passionate about developing into her role and learning new skills. Always with a smile on her face and willing to go above and beyond. Outside of work Elyssa enjoys eating, spending time with her family, friends and her dogs, Bossy and Lexi. 

Bianca joined the Australian Finance Hub team with a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of International Trade and Commerce Law from Macquarie University. Backed by a strong foundation in customer service and sales, she brings an energetic, solutions-focused approach to every client interaction. Bianca specialises in Commercial lending, supporting business owners and investors across a range of commercial finance requirements, including asset finance and strategic funding solutions. Outside of work, Bianca enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and her dog, Oscar.

Daniella recently joined Australian Finance Hub at the beginning of 2025 with five years of experience in the mortgage industry. Daniella brings with her a wealth of knowledge in both Mortgage Broking and Real Estate, equipped with a Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking & a deep passion for realising the dreams of her clients. She takes pride in offering transparent and honest advice, with exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process. She loves helping clients make informed decisions and seeing them reach their financial milestones. Outside of work, Daniella loves discovering the latest foodie hotspot & spending time finding her zen. 

After completing a double degree in Finance and Accounting at Macquarie University, Michael brings a strong analytical foundation to his role at Australian Finance Hub. He specialises in residential finance, working with a broad panel of lenders to tailor solutions that reflect the reality that no two deals are ever the same. Known for his friendly yet professional approach, Michael takes the time to deeply understand each client’s situation, crafting strategic finance plans that support first home purchases, improve existing loan structures, and help clients confidently expand their property portfolios. When he’s not engrossed in numbers, he’s travelling the world & having Sunday dinners at his Nonna’s.

Carol has been in finance broking for over 17 years and at the Australian Finance Hub since 2019. Her role is to ensure a seamless process from application to settlement and beyond. With extensive knowledge of the background requirements for loans, her favourite loan type to assist with are complex construction loans. She enjoys helping her clients get to each stage of their construction journey and seeing them in their dream home at the end of the process. Outside of work Carol enjoys cooking, Zumba and entertaining family and friends.

Lauren is instrumental in her role at the Australian Finance Hub and has been a critical member of the team since its inception. With a strong focus on client service and satisfaction, Lauren is known for going above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience for every AFH customer. She greets everyone with a smile and stops at nothing to ensure a customer centric approach carries through at every interaction. Outside of work Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog, Diesel.

Rosalie began her career in Admin & Marketing in 2017 before taking some time off to start a family in 2021. She joined the Australian Finance Hub in 2022 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. Rosalie made strides in her previous role as Executive Assistant to the CEO and now owns the customer retention beast ensuring our clients are always looked after. Outside of work Rosalie loves spending time with her family and taking a break by reading a good book.

Tamara joined Australian Finance Hub with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Finance from University of Technology Sydney. Backed by a well-built foundation in sales and customer service, she has a passion for helping people and adapting new skills. She brings a bubbly and infectious warmth to her interactions with a strong problem-solving mindset. Outside of work, Tamara spends her time with her friends, at the beach or shopping, loves spending time with her family, and adores her husky, Koda.
